Arguement Essay Relgion vs. vaccination

For my argument essay on why religions are aganist vaccinations. I will use some history to historicial some religions are aganist vaccines such as the measles and the effects and good reasons as to why it would be a good idea to vaccinate children against things like this. The measles was first discovered in 1757. In 1912, measles became a nationally notifiable disease in the United States, requiring U.S. healthcare providers and laboratories to report all diagnosed cases.Chicken pox flu and covid19 would also be benefical to vaccinate children against. In 1963 John Enders and some of his coworkers developed a vaccine for Edmonstein B strain of the measles. This vaccine was made avalaible to the united states. In 1968 they developed a stonrger vaccine that would vaccinate for measles mumps rubella and varicella all in one vaccine. Another important vaccine researchers made a vaccine for was chicken pox.  Michiaki Takahashi developed the vaccine, The vaccine was brought into the united states for our healthcare sytems in 1995.

Some people just do not understand that the vaccine will help to strenghten immune systems and is not necessarily full protection against infection or disease. These vaccines are made to help prevent disesease. Alot of the time vaccinations are given at early ages and children do not remember receiving them. They are given when the child is youbg because the child still has immunity from the mother initially and we want to protect them and build up the immune system as much as we can.Additional information I may need would be things like side effects and age requirements as well as where the vaccines are available to be administered from. If there is a series of multiple doses of the particular vaccine needed. People may be on different sides of this because they may be scared of side effects/allergic reactions or getting sick or sicker from vaccines even though they are here to better protect our health. Some religions are also against particular vaccinations. Vaccines can be adminsitered at your doctors office and some vaccines usually by appiontment at local phamrmacys such as C.V.S,Walgreens and Rite Aide.

Some religions are aganist vaccination due to the fact that there is animal ingredients such as chemcials and animal blood in some of the vaccine viles. The catholic church is okay with some of the vaccines to certain extents. Catholic church recognized the value and importance of ebing vaccinated. The catholic church does perfer that catholics seek alternate methoids when vaccines are made from cells from fetuses. Judaism religion is in favor of all vaccines becauuse they believe in the act of saving one anothers lifes. Jainism religon does allow the use of antibiotics and doesnt perfer vaccination but also understands it it necessary to help save lifes.Jehovah witness relgion denounced vaccination but revised the decision back in 1952.

Some religions do not trust any vaccines at all and will not get any vaccinations. There are controversies over the saftey and mortality that create tension regarding public health regarding vaccines. Part of the reasion as to why the tension exists is because public health officals try to do all that they can in there control to encourge and at times mandate vaccination.

In conclusion I can understand the concerns for religions being apprehensive about vaccinations.

Peer Review for essay 3

stephanie m says:

Hi Nekole overall good essay although I was confused at times what the argument of the essay was, Ounce I figured it out you did provide sufficient eviedence and facts to support the argument. You could be more specific when talking about the standardized testing..what standardized tests. ..for what grades..when are they taken..what is the purpose of them? The paragraphs for the most part do focus on one point. I do not read anywhere where the write writer about any opposing views. The work is cited in MLA format.
